Awesome new year for me on a personal note.
While many others spend their new year eve gathering with friends and family counting down and embracing the new year together.
There I am in my kitchen dishing out course by course.
Immaculate timing but alas poor service spoil the flow of action.
We briefly pause for a while for the arrival of 2010, and a short champagne toast with the kitchen team. For the info, its Dom Pérignon vintage 2000. Then i had the second round of toast at 2am with the whole F&B team.
I spend the night at one of the manor in the hotel together with other colleagues who are already soundly asleep except K & M, we had a bottle of Dom Pérignon all to ourseleves and good part of my new year, there's a private pool in the manor. Better than that its champagne by the pool, and the best part of it,i jumped in, naked! LOL..my first 裸泳 expierence! 4 hours into 2010!
In between 2009 and 2010, out of that 48hrs, i spend 40 hours in the kitchen, next thing i knew when i got home, its already the 2nd day of 2010.
Sometime time passes so fast that it freaks me out. i sat there in my car and wonder what am i fighting so hard for...?
All i know what lies ahead for me is 14days of continuous midnight shift.
