Yesterday i took a day leave to service my car in the morning...not too bad...i didn't have to wait as long as compared to C&C...just about 90 mins...After sending W to work, i roam around amk center till mid noon before renting a dvd back home to watch...met up with buds and their gfs for movie and dinner. Guess what... we watched "Alone"...horror movie! lol..not bad cause it pretty predictable when the "scary scene" is about to appear...Like most Thai horror, those scene always happen when u look into the mirror, soaking in the bathtub, sleeping on bed. 90% of the time it happen in the bedroom.
I conclude that Thai thinks their bedroom are scary places...nuff said.

After dinner with them, i went for a second round with W. Its amazing how much of food i had yesterday night...frog porridge, laksa, fried hokkien mee, prawn noodle soup, spring roll, bbq chicken wings...back home for durian and kiwi.

Today wasn't that good a day, sneeze pretty badly the moment i came out of shower..
And it went non-stop till now. my nose is all red and its still dripping like a spoilt tap...glad i had company in that two stupid dogs who keep coming in and out of my room...

Oh, that bloody school finally called and that lady said she just came back on maternity leave...*roll eyes* and will arrange interview next week...ya thanks huh..of all weeks...gotta pick the week that i'm doing my midnight shift.

August is just around the corner and i've yet to start training for my ippt.
Doom day is so near. I doubt i'll pass at all...shit, whats gonna happen if i failed to clear by end august..?

Still waiting for the bloody school to arrange my interview date, its been more than a month since the day they called to say they'll be arranging for an interview and i'm still waiting...wth is going on...

Looking to the brighter side of my otherwise gloomy future, i'm finally going to get a promotion after talks of it have dragged on for so many months...
Even though the pay is still pathetic and the title is nothing to boast about but i'm making progress. At a really slow rate. Just too bad i choose a career that emphasize on experience more than capability.

It seems like my off day is the only day i get to sleep alot.
I slept for like 15hours straight...
Yesterday for the first time in my life, i went for acupuncture.
My wrist have been hurting for months and mama ask me to go acupuncture with her.
So i thought why not?
Its not painful when the needle went in.
But its OMG when he give the needle a twist from time to time.

Yesterday was also the first time i got to work in the pastry dept.
Even though alfred was busy, he still spare time to teach me a couple of basic techniques,
like proper way of folding in different ingredients,
how to gauge temperature when making cream, mousse, etc.
tips and tricks and of course damn lots of shortcuts.

I'm beginning to appreciate "shortcuts" ways of preparing food.
Its like reverse engineering. You need to know the final product then you can cut it short. Imagine i would have took maybe 4-6 hours to make a gravy, W took only 30mins.

I got a 4 hours crash course on making cheesecakes. A baked NY cheesecake with recipe from a famous chain of coffeehouse. And a Jap cheesecake which is almost good enough to rival that "moo moo cow" cheescake..

Now maybe i should get a oven next month...

Had a long day today..was looking forward to have a good rest on my off day.
I end up travelling all over the island...went ica bldg with my sis to get her replacement IC and passport update. Then to buy wen's bbq stuffs. I had lunch alone again. After which i went pasir ris to get doggie's food..
Then i gotta ferry food and people from orchard down to east coast...

Straight from there i went to vivo to meet up with D, ban, hz and g. Had dinner and rushed back to sentosa to see the musical.."Song of the Sea" Not bad, was quite a visual treat with fireworks at the end...but i thought they should improve more on the music, after all its a "musical".

We had ice-cream and went on a tour around sentosa cos the compass isn't working and we can't locate D's chalet...Haha..
The chalet room is quite small to hold a party but perfectly nice for 2.
So hope the lovebirds will have a rolling good time to themselves.. =)

Anyway the 3 of us are going to have a long shot at the SGD$5 800 000 Toto this friday. Its abit crazy but we are buying system 10. one set . $105.
lol...

Somehow i felt weird, its seems not what it is.
if the focus is not on me, not my family, not my inner circle of friends...
Then what is it?
